Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

The Mountain Goats "In League of Dragons"

2014/Merge

These guys have really developed as a band. To say the least!

Alanis Morissette "Jagged Little Pill"

1995/Maverick/Reprise/Germany

I believe this to be the op in this county.

"you took a long hard look at my ass,

then played golf for a while"

One of my top albums all time, finally on vinyl. IMHO the pinnacle of his career. Remastered by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound. It's 99% gotta be from digital source, but SQ is good-to-excellent varying by track. Quiet pressing. I

MHO the ballads are noticeably improved vs. the CD, w/acoustic guitars especially full-bodied & lead vocals popping off a black background, but dynamics on piano, horns & blockbusters(e.g. Church) ...I was hoping for more wham & texture.

Overall:  Music: 10/10     Sound: 8.5/10

@slaw no issues w/ side 3.

Big +1 for Romantic Warrior, the LP that got this pre-teen rocker into jazz eons ago.

@bslon @slaw My Classic Records Rough Mix sounds great. "Street In The City" is a demo track. Perhaps my standards are lower. I looked and they appear to have only done one run, so probably same batch.
