Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Phil Manzanera - 801 Live,  with Brian Eno, Bill MacCormick , Francis Monkman, Simon Phillips, & Lloyd Watson. Polydor 1977

Pere Ubu - The Modern Dance. Fire Records reissue/remaster 2018, originally 1978

I may be biased when it comes to Dire Straits. I had always thought the production on all of the original pressings was great.

Same goes for Steely Dan!

I can still remember my reaction listening to Do It Again for the first time on the Can’t Buy A Thrill album. I thought it made my BSR system from high school really shine.
