Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO

James how’s the ORG Heavy Weather vs. OG?

@sbank its interesting. It’s more transparent and revealing of small detail but less atmospheric. It loses some midrange richness and liquidity from the original. Soundstage is deeper with better separation but there is definitely more treble. So, I’m glad to have it but, on this, perhaps more than on any other record we listen for The tone of the bass in its upper registers and harmonics. Jaco baby. And I think the emotion of that comes through stronger on my OP.
