The greatest organist and jazz multi-instrumentalist leaves us after just 51 years of living and sharing his music almost since he was born.

He was extremely obese so that might play the critical factor of his sudden death.

My favorite record is him with John McLaughlin Live in Tokyo

I saw him preform live at a nice jazz venue in Chicago about 8 years ago. He moved away from his organ on one song to play the trumpet during the show (Very well by the way). He died far too young.
