Some small powered PA speaker systems usually have two inputs. The need for more would require a small mixer feeding the PA system. Unless your reinforcing a rhythm section I'd begin with one 10" or 12" stand mounted powered speaker. Behringer products seem to offer reasonable amount of current technology economically and possibly be discounted by retailers. It would be wise to compare any economical product with the current processing technology from JBL EON, Mackie and QSC to fit your needs. As a Bassist I use a very small 10" coaxial monitor and direct line out to the front of house. Also a lifetime of larger cabinets and amplifiers that I try not to use. |
