Lumin Ap on Lumin players - not so good?

Anyone use Luman ap??

got a new luman device and find the Lumin ap as being difficult to work with.  Playlists seems to require lots of management vs Roon, Qobuz.  Also hard to figure ap out.  Seems very awkward to use.

design of ap doesnt seem to be very good.  Guidance is limited.  Very disappointed.

Oh my God just get roon.

Functionality is far superior.  Spotify was kind of nice to but they don't have quality recordings to listen to.  Which is really sad because they have really super playlists.

I have been using roon for quite a while and I don't have to be jerked round by some incredibly convoluted interface.

There are challenges with the roon Interface.  But the basics easily flow and anyone can pick it up and get right into it.

Profoundly sad users aren't taken into consideration when they designed the interfaces

Sweet Moses...jumia, you are correct! After less then two hours with my T2, the app interface is awful. You would think that Lumin would take better notice of what its end users are saying about their product. I have to believe that a fair amount of their target customers visit audiophile community forums in doing their due diligence, and if enough of them are swayed by negative comments, marketshare will fail to meet company expectations. Wake up Lumin! Great sound...once you deal with the frustrations of the interface! Roon is looking more and more attractive.

Just work with it a bit, read the online manual. It's better than it seems at first, the biggest shortcoming to me is an outdated poorly written manual. I'm far from an expert, but I've been pretty happy once I figured out how to send music from Tidal's desktop app to the Lumin app on my IPad, where I've organized it, so I play it from there. I think the streamer is great. The documentation is poor. The worst part, if you have issues and need help, it easy for Tidal and Lumin to point the finger elsewhere.

This should not be so challenging. I bit the bullet and signed up for Roon to feed my T2 using my iPad to listen to Tidal.  Roon is looking for my Roon Core. What the flip is that and how do I access it?!
