Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Last new incoming. This replaces my original copy with lots of wear, and not handled with care all the time back in the day.

Grateful Dead - American Beauty. Warner Bros reissue 1974, originally 1970.

The vinyl looks to be in incredible shape. Will see.

Brian, I have an original 1959 copy. It was at the back as it was virtually unplayable. One day last year, I ran it through the US a few times and it now plays as VG+ BUT, man, the SQ is fantastic.

The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out. Columbia/MOV reissue remaster 2010 European release. Originally 1959.

Just now enjoying George Thorogood’s release "Party of One" . While not all reviews have been great, I like it when a musician goes into the studio with just a guitar and puts it on the line. Another one like this is Dylan’s "World Gone Wrong" LMAO when I read a review of that one that suggested it should have been call "Bob Gone Wrong". I think I’ll play it as soon as George is finished. 🤣

I've only had the cassette, never the vinyl Brian. This MOV sounds great, and the price was right. Would love to hear the original pressing as well 👍

Mingus - Oh Yeah, last night. Speakers Corner. Not an "audiophile" recording, but the pressing and mastering are really nice, the sound quality is excellent and the vinyl is really quiet.
