I believe Michael Fremer has a cartridge set up video. If you can spin a screw driver and use a pair of tweezers you can do it. As long as the stylus guard is on the cartridge it is hard to hurt anything. Never overtighten anything. You just want snug. The money you would spend on a shop to set it up would be better off spent on a tracking force gauge and a protractor. |
Should be easy. If you’re in for a long run, I highly recommend Dr. Feichert new protractor. It’s not exactly cheap but you will use it more than once and that’s for sure! Plus you will save on paying someone to set it up for you. It will pay for itself https://upscaleaudio.com/products/dr-feickert-analogue-universal-alignment-protractor |
