Billie Holiday's Prime?

I'm pretty sure it was in the 30's and 40's.

The earlier the better.

True?

"All or Nothing At All is fantastic"

vonhelmholtz-

I once took this particular press to an audio show.  Distributor of AudioDesk was therre, so had it US cleaned.

Billie Holiday – All Or Nothing At All (1959, Deep Groove , Vinyl) - Discogs

Played it on an uber setup, where there were some Billie fans among listeners. It was CD quiet and just a pleaure to experience.

I was offered $200 on the spot by a guy with a European accent. I politely declined. I found it years ago at my local shop for maybe $10-15? At the time I probably thought I paid too much!

This is the "Deep Groove" pressing-allegedly "special" I don't know about this, but it sure does sound nice.

This SH thread on "Deep Groove" unfortunately doesn't really say WHY it's "Better"

Can someone explain to new LP collectors what a DEEP GROOVE pressing is? | Page 2 | Steve Hoffman Music Forums

This is likely just as good AND cheap-
