You biked 18 miles a day and walked 2 miles every evening??!
What chance do the rest of us have! 😄
What should my heirs do to dispose of my vinyl and CDs?
I am typing up a document with all details of my system components and cables with approximate values. No one else in the family knows anything about high end audio. I suggested they sell the gear at US Audiomart. What should I suggest they do with the vinyl and digital discs in my reasonably large collection? I want them to get to others who can enjoy them when I no longer can. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Like thecarpathian, I’m also a bit skeptical of your exercise regimen: I’m thrilled that I keep up with 50 miles of bike riding per week, or 2,500 per year. That said, I also don’t eat junk, I have a glass of red wine a day. Nevertheless, I have to have an angiogram next week 😡, they suspect sufficient blockage in the Widow-maker to require a stent. I somehow never got covid, but I’ve had three bouts of chest tightness since the start of covid, the first two being episodic lasting a minute here and there for a month then going away, but the current one episodic since November. Heart trouble does run in both sides of my family. My niece likes vinyl records, I’m figuring leaving the audio system and the LPs to her, or just selling it all when I’m 100 and going deaf. |
Skeptical? You mean you think I am lying? You would probably believe me if I said power cables make a difference. OK by me. I know what I was doing. Six days a week, Sundays off. I'm back up to the 18-miles but nowhere near where I was lifting. The two-mile walk served two purposes. Exercise my pups and a workout for me. Only takes 40 minutes or less. The 18 miles takes an hour. |
