Why not, it's cheaper to make them there. It's best alternative to China to bring any manufacturing there for a lot less taxes and fees to establish business operations.
Irontically it is not cheaper. Prices go up even they move to Poland. So Tannoy Gr Series is no longer made in the UK from now on. The value of Gr speakers will reduce, right?
Interesting, I have a pair of Tannoy Churchill’s from when they had a presence in Kitchener Ont. Canada. The drivers and outboard crossovers were made in Scotland and the large main cabinets were made in Canada. Where it’s made now is really a business decision I guess; how to stay competitive.
