KRELL MD-10 CD

I am missing the CD Stabilizer for a MD-10.  Krell does not have this part available any longer.  Does anyone know of a compatible alternative from a different manufacturer? I've also heard that some 3D printer copies are available in the market but have not found any.

Will the MD-10 play a CD without the stabilizer? If so, then you don't need it!

If the MD-10 still needs the stabilizer to work you could go to a wood working shop and have one made - as long as you have the dimensions.

I think the MD-10 was like my old MD-1, and if so, it needs a weight on the disc to keep it from flopping around while playing.  I don't think a wood weight would be heavy enough to do the job.  You might look for manufacturers of top-loaders to see if they use stabilizers; if I remember right, my old Sony SACD player (the original, top loader) had one, so maybe Sony might have some?

Since it used a Phillips Pro top loading mechanism, check on eBay, you may be surprised.
