Thoughts on speaker cable between Audioquest Dragon Zero vs Transparent Opus. 

Speakers: Wilson Alexia V

Amp: Dan D'Agostino S250 amplifier MxV

Future turntable thinking TechDAS Airforce III

Future preamp Dan D'Agostino Momentum HD 

Wide range of music but probably female vocalist is my favorite.  Just found that Lady Blackbird Fix it from Munich show.  Nina Simone, Norah Jones, Sylvan Esso, Billie Eilish.  Lots of Miles Davis In A Silent Way, Herbie Hancock Head Hunters, Coltrane Love Supreme.

What if I could get the Dragons at more than half the cost of the Opus?

I would strongly recommend contacting Jay at jaysaudiolab.com.  He has owned both the Audioquest Dragon and Transparent Opus speaker cables.  He's also owned the Wilson Alexia V and the D'Agostino gear you own and are thinking of owning.  For a small consultation fee he will save you thousands of dollars in the long run.  I've used his services and highly recommend him.  Good luck.

If the transparent cables are not calibrated for your exact system then you are missing out.

Yes, Transparent Opus / should be calibrated to your components… it is part of the reason to go to Opus.
