Magnepan owners. Fuses or what

I read with interest that some Maggie users have removed the fuses from their speakers.  Supposedly for clarity and increased current.  I have the 3.7 model with two small fuses on the backside.  Are these the ones that get replaced?  And what goes in instead?

If you have the steel jumpers change them out.  You will be very surprised at the positive change.

I replaced the fuses in my 20.7s with solid copper cylinders.  If there was any difference it wasn't big enough to notice.  If I go back to fuses maybe I will notice a bigger change.  But I don't play music that loud and I've never blown a tweeter so not really sure what I need a fuse for anyhow.

It's not just the fuses than are sonic-degraders, it's the entire fuse block: it's filled with parts made of ferrous materials (steel). Bypass the entire fuse assemble, and install binding posts of your choice in the stock speaker-connector holes. Cardas posts slide right in.

Thanks, guys, for the advice.  I am likely to try these.  Makes perfect sense.  Non interfered with flow of current.
