before buying a bat vk d5 cd player, consider a musical fidelity a5. i have owned both. i found the bat unforgiving of problem recordings and overly focused.
I owned one...too much detail at the expense of musicality IMHO...it's a good one though...eveyone's taste is different. I thought the build quality on the cd drawer was ridiculous considering the cost of the unit. Larry
