Resloution Audio Opus 21

Can anyone tell me if the Opus 21 plays SACD format?

Aren't the recording in SACD superior to Red Book recordings? Thanks for your help. Adam

I have a Resolution Audio CD-50 which I find exceptional and can only imagine how much better the Opus 21 might be.
