Did I screw up??? C2700 vs c49

Congrats and enjoy! Great choice! I had a C2700 for awhile and really enjoyed it. Fed into my MC462. The DA2 DAC module sounded pretty nice, too.

I also have a C2700 feeding MC611s. They seem like they were made for each other. Fabulous.

I have a C2300 with an MC500 and it’s a stellar tubed preamp! You’ll do fine fine with the C49.

Thanks guys!! So my set up now is C2300, MC611s, 720 power quest, Hi FI Rose 130 running  B&W 701 N. Can't wait to hear her!! Still waiting on some cables and few components.  

That was quick. I have heard both the 2700 and C49. I thought both systems sounded pretty good. With the B&W the tubs probably help smooth out the highs a touch.
