Time heals all wounds?

Maybe this is true. I have an old NAD cd player that I keep because it decodes HDCD. A couple months ago it stopped reading discs. I didn't do anything aas fast as getting it looked at or replacing it. A few days ago, I tried it again...and it now works perfectly. Go figure...

On electronics unplagging them sometimes it works. Not always.Maybe resetting really works…

A person's marital partner can also be this way.  Most of the time they play well, other days, well.....

@mitch2 ....depends on 'pedigree', condition, and sometimes just a case of " I used to own 'X'..." and 'resistance is futile'....*laugh*

@czarivey ....Has the coveys' sorcerers come up with a better routine to 'dis-spell' the haunts then that last one?

....that 'pour boiling light oil into all of the openings and connections, shake vigorously overhead while shouting "CAD!" repeatedly.....'

@davidrolon

I had a Sony carousel CD player for my garage/shop.  It played for many years and then it wouldn't read a disc, then it would a week later.  This went on for about a year(!) Then I finally had it and ripped it apart...down in the bowels of this thing I discover that the drive belt is barely there, limp to say the least.  Well, by then it was too late, trash.
