why balanced power last before component?

I've been thinking of using balanced power to remove gross noise prior to a Sound Application RLS or Hydra for example.
Any reason why not?

I hate to be the guy who farted in the elevator, but...

...with regard to residential 120VAc service in the U.S, "balanced power" doesn't exist for all practical purposes. Theoretically you could create true "balanced" 120VAc power starting with a clean 240V service and adding two massive transformers. Expensive and probably noisy.

The companies that are advertising "balanced power" solutions are really selling power isolation. That's good (depending on your perspective) but it's a different thing altogether.

That’s simply mistaken. There are plenty of truly balanced isolation transformers offered for audio, going all the way back to the old API units.

Here's the Equi-Tech schematic:

@cleeds You are correct, Equitech units like their 1.5 and 1.5QR do provide balanced power. In my response I was assuming that the OP was looking to balance the power load for his whole home. I reread his post and realized my error. My apologies.

I also have EquiTech and was wondering about alternative conditioners, nice to know can daisy chain and can add before EquiTech.
