some hybrid SACD do not play?

I have heard a complaint about a few of the top rated SACD players from Marantz and Sony, that they do not play some hybrid SACDs. Can anyone confirm this? I would be very annoyed if I bought one of these players and it couldn't play some of my SACDs.

First, there is no SCD-S9000ES model, afaik. Second, both the SCD-XA9000ES (which I still have) and the DVP-S9000ES are multichannel players.

The DVP-S9000ES had that problem, but mine never did, but sold it before it could, I had read many times of the issue. My current NAD Master M5 does not have the problem, and does read faster the the Sony DVP-S9000ES.
