After I confirmed there weren't any standby transformers, I was able to change voltage to 220-240v sucessfully. Actually, as you suggested, a person who has electronic and soldering skill did convert voltage. Thank you very much again.

So on the Accuphase DP 560 100v you can just solder over J1 = 100v
to J2 = 120v for USA.  I'm asking because there seems to be a lot of Japanese models and not many US models on eBay or anywhere?

Do you know if this Accuphase DP 560 SACD player is better than the

Marantz SA -10?

As far as I know, almost users recommend DP560.
