FEZZ audio

I'm thinking about adding a tube amp and turntable to my system.

I'm in the research phase right now.  Totall budget would be around 10K for amp, phone stage and TT. I'm vacationing in Denver which has some preatty cool hi fi stores.  At least compared to Chicago where I'm from. Anyway, I stopped in Aural Hi Fi yesterday and the owner was awesome.  Very knowledgeable and eager to help.  He suggested to me the FEZZ Titania amp based on my speakers which are 92db sensitive. Looking into FEZZ more it seems that they are preatty new but have a good rep as far as SQ and build and value for money.  Anyone have experience with FEZZ products or have any suggestions in the 4 to 5k range for a stereo tube amp?

If money is not an option I agree.  I could always add one later. The speakers I have are Paradim 120H's which have active woofers, so I would only be driving my mids and tweeters. Are u familiar with Fezz?  If so what's your opinion?

If the channels can be paralleled, that would give 90W per side, which is overkill for your 92db speakers. But of course that depends upon what the efficiency curve of your speakers really looks like, and more power never hurts. (The 92db rating of your speakers may not apply at bass frequencies, for example.) The 45W per channel of one amplifier should be fine, assuming the 92db rating is legit. The only question I would have is whether these amplifiers are "special" in any particular way, in terms of sound quality. You’ve got a single 12AX7 per channel driving a pair of KT88s per channel and possibly a toroidal output transformer (just a guess based on the cylindrical cans), unless, for example, there is a solid state driver stage in between the 12AX7 and the KT88s. Otherwise I wonder whether the 12AX7 has enough oomph to do the job well. The amplifier is certainly attractive from the outside. If you have heard them at the store, that’s a good thing. Maybe you can borrow a pair from that dealer and try them out on your own speakers.

I know Jeremy @ Aural Hifi - good guy.  I also know 3 other reputable dealers, 2 in Northern virginia, one in north carolina, who carry the brand and think very highly of it.

Thanks all for your in put. Fezz won the Red Dot award in 2023.....not sure what that is.  Is it reputable or BS?

Mdalton., my wife and I were very impressed with Jeremy.  Could have stayed all day and I think he would have let us.  He had a pair of DeVore O96 speakers going and Holly crap!!   Wow!! We had just come from The Music Room where we heard a pair of Sonus Faber. I think they were Il Cremonese. They were hooked up to McIntosh mono  mono blocks and all of the good stuff. They were good but I wasn't wowed.  Made me feel pretty good about my system.  But the Devore's....next level.
