Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Hello all,

I just received some new albums and spun them once my system was warmed up.  Started off with a 45 rpm  2 disc Limited Edition Columbia remaster (#MSFL-2-45011) of Miles Davis Kind of Blue. One of the all time great assemblages includes Julian "Cannonball" Adderley on alto sax, Paul Chambers on double bass, John Coltrane on tenor sax, Bill Evans on piano all on tracks except one with Wynton Kelly (Ellis Marsalis named his son, Wynton after Wynton Kelly) on piano on the "Freddie the Freeloader" track.  As you know the 45 rpm recordings have a richer" sound quality due to more "grooves/recorded info" for the stylus to track.  Next up will be another 2 disc Columbia 45rpm (CS8192) of Dave Brubeck's "Time Out" recorded on August 18, 1959.  Dave on piano, Paul Desmond on alto sax, Joe Morello on drums and Eugene Wright on bass.  I'm still breaking in a three week old Prima Luna EVO 400 integrated amp but the music is  sweet.  The remastered Miles is a joy for the soul of any music aficionado.   Enjoy your favorite music!
