I’m thrilled with my TAD ME-1 speakers.  They do everything well and perform above their size.

As mentioned earlier, I went and auditioned the Fleetwood Deville. Very good, but still prefer my Harbeth 30.2 40th for the price. Also heard the Devore O96 at the same time. While not a bookshelf, these speakers are truly amazing, regardless if you like the look or not. Highly recommend to check them out.

I like my current standmounts, Marten Parker Duos. I first compared the Marten Oscar Duos against the YG Tor and the Dynaudio Heritage Special, and preferred the Martens for rock music, which is what I listen to. Then I compared the Oscar Duos with the Parker Duos and went with the bigger ones; incredible midrange... I pair them with an MSB S-200 power amp and a Herron Audio tube preamp....

You already know that's a loaded topic (speakers) for all audiophiles, Way to subjective when dealing with human listening and hearing, for example speakers that I preferred 10yrs ago may not be same today, I usually build my system around the speakers and the particular genre of music I love, as a former professional musician, recordings (playback) along with room size is a major component and not always in how much money one spends.

MBL 126 with MBL electronics - clean, clear, ample bass

Harbeth M30.2 XD with Hegel H390 or better - great musical combo

Joseph Audio Pulsar Graphene - big fan of Joseph Audio sound

Cabasse RIALTO - small size, big sound including ample bass. Demoed twice at audio shows - many commented they seemed underpriced for the great Sonics they delivered

Agree that at 15k, floorstander is better
