They are out there, in various degrees of ruin from being stacked and played on the BSR all in one rigs from the 70's

Old Zep friends and I enjoyed it the other night because of this thread-thanks!

The mighty Zep and the rest aren't played much these days

These days are Classical, straight ahead Jazz, Blues and old obscure weird music

Like you I don't listen much to Zep anymore. But they are still my favorite band to play my drums with. I was always a hard rocker/metal maniac. I now listen to what I call NOS music, Billy Joel, Supertramp, Atlanta Rhythm Section, et al and love blues and recently found Ray Wylie Hubbard  & even some more modern country. Its amazing how a good system makes all these sound so good.

Fortunately I got back into vinyl in the very early 2K's I bought about 3.5-4k albums, all VG+ or better for ten cents to $2. fortunately I don't need anymore vinyl but it doesn't stop me from buying some.

I'm glad you & your friends had a good time listening to Zep. It's good to awaken old memories from time to time

Thanks for the compliment on my TT. I love wood and had to have it. it sounds great. But its down now until I get another drive system. Speed sensor went out on it. So I'm all digital now. But that will change soon. I really miss the vinyl.

My listening/purchasing generally isn't past 1980. Big early ARS fan!

My neighborhood stores are packed with inexpensive, no demand, waiting to be discovered/rediscovered gems.

"still my favorite band to play my drums with."

Yup, the 70's were spent playing for hours in my bedroom trying to perfect Jimmy's licks on a cheap Japanese Les Paul.

50+ years later, the only difference now is arthritis and a real Les Paul!
