Would a Nagaoka MP200 cartridge work on this turntable? I have a chance to get the Sony for a good price. I will eventually be getting a better turntable but would be using the Sony in the meantime and as a backup.
As long as the tonearm has a standard headshell that allows you to secure the cartridge with mounting screws then yes, it will work with the MP200 cart, or any standard mount cart.
