Reset all your devices in between just to be sure. Sometimes they keep track of downstream MAC addresses and/or act like a NAT unexpectedly or something about the route is wonky. Also reset your DHCP provider (i.e. your router).
Can't get a IP address on my Aurender W20
Current set up, Ethernet cable from modem to fiber optic converter down to my audio system, second fiber optic converter to Ethernet cable to a Paul Pang switch, Ethernet cable to W20 works perfectly for over a year. Want to pull Paul Pang out of system so i run the Ethernet cable from fiber optic converter directly to W20 im getting NO IP address on my W20. I’ve rebooted the system many times nothing will work. Now if i run a traditional cat 7. Ethernet cable between modem and w20 instantly pulls an IP address and works perfectly. If I put the Paul Pang switch back into the system works perfectly. What am i missing why can’t i get an IP address without the PP, i had no issues prior to the PP going from fiber optic converter directly to my Aurender N10 (at that time)?
