I just got a little NAD C 328 integrated amplifier, but have little room. It’s a coolish class D amplifier from what I understand, so can I sit it upright on-end? Or, it is not cool to do that to the degree it will bring the life of the little amp to a quick end?
Make sure you still have plenty of space around it though. At least 2".
The NAD hybrid Class D amps run hot compared to other Class D amps due to a linear amp in the middle. Relative to linear A/B amps, it’s cool, relative to other Class D amps they run warm.
