Tidal or Qobuz

Interesting that multiple people report opposite conclusions on which one sounds better. Maybe this is due to personal preferences in sound or, as @nyev mentioned, there could be other variables at play. Maybe differences in hardware, internet service, upsampling in Roon, gain within the streaming software, data centers, etc. are playing a part?

@sfpeloton human nature will make people say the one they like sounds best.

This is an old thread.  Since I posted before, Tidal has changed owners and may no longer be pushing rap on all of the subscribers.

I did a detailed comparison a couple years ago and concluded Qobuz sounded the best... as well as having over half a million high resolutions albums vs only a tiny fraction at Tidal.

Sounds like the clicking is in your equipment. I have never heard any clicks on any of my streamers.
