Time of Day for best Sound

I've always felt my system sounded best at night, but the last couple months, it seems to me that my system is sounding better during the daytime even on a Saturday.

Has anyone belonging to the "My system sounds better certain times of the day" club noticed this change?

Not a big deal but I find it curious. And theres no need to debate the reality of the general idea, just wondering if someone else feels this has happened.

For the record I have been using a dedicated 20 Amp feed.

Yes. The better your components, the more of the design effort and materials go in to the power supply. Power management uses the heaviest components... hence the heavier the component typically the better is sounds. This is why with the very highest end components the power supply on a component like a preamp is separated from the amplification circuitry completely... in a two box solution. A few of the very best components I have heard have been battery powered, completely removing it from the power grid while playing.

Having said that, no matter how good my components get, power conditioning has provided further improvement.

We are regarding the state of our neural circuitry to be part and parcel of our sound system, right? If not, it’s high time we did. This is how many of our favorite musicians operated.

I basically play winter time and when the Wife Leaves ..When she goes the unit comes on and do not care what time of day ..And play it at 75 db ..

And yes some days do sound better than others with weather and mood you could be in...Some days start with wrong music and OMG what do I want to listen to ???
