Which inexpensive speaker cables...

My listening room has now become a bedroom / listening room which needs to be baby proof as well.  I'm going to have to place my Denon PMA110 in my closet and run long speaker cables.  I am on a limited budget as well, think $200 ish.  Any ideas would be much appreciated!

@b_limo ,

will wait to hear back on your Canares experience. But happy for, since I saw a mention of “baby proof”. I am making an assumption here.

Performance Audio.  Just had two pairs of 12ga/20ft cables made because I'm going to bi-amp my new system.  They have options so you can tailor to your needs.  I went with carbon fiber bananas, pants and labels.  I had mine labeled to make it easier when bi-amping.  I did not chose the fancy braided covering but it is an option.  They have a good selection of cables.  Go to "Custom Cables" then "Speaker Cables"  I went with the Canare but you have options.  Trust me, you should check-out Performance Audio. I did my Outlaw surround system using all Performance Audio cables and it sounded fantastic.  The labels make set-up SO MUCH easier.  Especially when hooking-up multiple XLR's. Warning; Once you do custom cables, there's no going back!  I've used Performance Audio a few times and can only say good things.

They may be slightly above your budget, but Morrow should be considered, even their 1-series.  For me, replaced Purist Audio Design (PAD) as I needed long runs,, and appreciate the low profile and flexibility of the Morrow cables.  No sacrifice in SQ, either.

Too bad about the Pine Tree Audio cost.  Great cables and customer service.  Suggest Blue Jeans cable.  They can customize to any length and type of connectors.  Both companies have excellent customer service and are US based.
