Dynaudio Evoke 20

Please share your experience if you listened to the Dynaudio Evoke 20 in person.
I am a sucker for the dynamics(snare) and a wide sweet spot.

How did they perform for that ?
How would you describe the Soundstage and dynamics ?
Overall impression?
Which other speaker would you recommend in a similar price range ? (I was considering the Revel 106)
P.S: I have a large room and run a Sub as well (Integrated Via MiniDSP)

I recently listened to the evoke 30’s and they sounded great. Detailed but not bright or harsh. Wide soundstage and crazy good amounts of bass for a tiny floorstamder. I thinking of going with them to replace my monitor audio silver 100’s which are a little too bright for me.

IMO the Evoke series punches above it's weight, you get a lof a enjoyment at a relavtivley lower price point.  You can listen to it for a long time without any fatigue.   I have heard the Evoke 50 extensively but not the 20.  It has decent dynamics, not up there with my Cornwall IVs, but the difference wasn't huge.  Smooth sounding speaker but still a good amount of clarity.  Sound stage is a strength of the Evoke 50.  Since the Evoke 20 is a stand mount it probably images and stages even better.

I own 13 pair bookshelf speakers including the evoke 20 and special 40. The 20 is a warm sounding speaker with somewhat laid back treble. Has excellent bass weight, with its star being its vocals. It can scale up with better amps. Like most Dynaudio speakers the more current the better,

I own a pair, collecting dust now. My most expensive audio investment ever. It's fun and good with enough power but not great in any criteria. Detail is probably is weakness. It was my first step in my 3rd audiophile journey, no regrets...
