Reference Tracks?

Hello,

I hope you can find a moment to share one, two, or three of your all-time favorite pieces that are truly excellent examples of a superb audiophile recording. Tracks that one repeatedly goes back to gauge the effectiveness of new components or tweaks to their system.

Thank you!

Blood Harmony, sibling’s voices, to appreciate your system and speakers subtleness

Larkin Poe, LPs Peach and Kindred Spirits, they are all over YouTube, have not heard the new album.

You might try:

Diana Krall, "Temptation"

Nils Lofgren, "Keith Don't Go" (on Acoustic Live)

Dominique Fils-Aime, "Birds"

I'm not sure if these are audiophile recordings, but they sound sweet!

Thanks to all!

I have no real favorite regarding the "type" of music I prefer. I like all well-recorded tracks. I like light rock, country, outstanding vocalists, jazz, and some classical. I particularly like Eva Cassidy.

I’ll wander off the beaten path here….

Neils-Henning Orsted Pedersen, This is All I Ask - O, Tysta Ensamhet

Neils-Henning Orsted Pedersen, The Unforgettable NHOP Trio Live

Allan Taylor, Behind the Mix - Tennessee Waltz

Keb Mo, Slow Down - I Was Wrong

Greg Brown, Slant 6 Mind - Mose Allison Played Here

Joe Satriani - Slow Down Blues

Melody Gardot, Entre Eux Deux - Samba En Preludo
