Yeah, I do remember there was a concert vibe for TSRTS way back when.

We got primed in the parking lot, along with MANY.

My ears can’t handle proper R&R volume these days, but the theatre did have a decent setup where Bonzo’s drumming/JPJ bass was felt.

Another reminder it’s a must see in IMAX!

I got a kick out of seeing ticket prices for those early year shows-$5.

Memory isn’t too sharp, but I think concert going experiences started around $8-10 due to inflation?

@pehare - I got to see them in '69 at the Laurel Pop Festival in Laurel, MD. They were told they had to finish up their set so they said, "One more?" - they got permission and played 'How Many More Times' for over 30 minutes! But they still weren't done - as they were walking off the stage, they suddenly ran back and started playing 'Communication Breakdown', and then they cut the power off on 'em. Plant let out a scream that you could hear unamplified though most of the venue! 

@larsman I'm envious of that era show (I'm only 64) sounds like a great one what a great memory.  There was an older lady in the crowd for the movie (of only six - matinee) who said after the show she'd seen them in '69 too.  She said she enjoyed the movie.  @tablejockey @noromance of course.... those were the days.  For BCLZ I chose something more modern lol, an edible and a concealable flask of distilled spirits. 

I saw them in 73? Houses of the Holy tour.   Amazing but the drum solo went on and on for way too long.  As a side note, my GF, now my wife said that Robert Plant had a huge boner throughout most of the show.  We were sitting third row center at the Providence Civic Center.  Thought I would share that bit of nostalgia.  

Knowing Plant and the time, he probably stuffed his pants.
