Veena, a Indian stringed instrument has ~4000 years of documented history. , i.e fairly complex build, metallurgy required.

"Simpler" wind instruments go ways back... For example, the didgeridoo (indigenous instrument of Terra Australis) goes back at least 20,000 years.
