Audio companies in the mirror

In another thread, someone brought up the AH! Noe Tjoeb 4000 cd player. I hadn't thought of that manufacturer or that product in I don't know how long even though I do remember now it being splashed across the review pages some 20 years ago. In turn, that made me think of components and companies like the Cairn Fog cd player that also surfaced briefly before being subsumed in the ever rolling waves of new components.

What are some components or companies that have came to your mind's recently that you haven't thought of for years before?

Yeah, I knew that. But I have a fond memory of their original turntables. A friend of mine was a big fan of their analog stuff and it always sounded excellent in his system. He is no longer with us, so it’s a happy memory.

@ozzy62

You are correct, Meadowlark is back. He is making fully active DSP controlled speakers.

Some of my choices:

Mirage

Fried (hand in hand with IMF)

Dunlavy
