What is the value of that R2R model WITHOUT the Alice Alice treatment?
@tablejockey

The question should be about overall value proposition of a R2R desk in today’s world. Even if one can afford to buy a R2R deck used or new, the rarity of available albums/tapes and price (best tapes are $500 per album) makes it a worthless endeavor, IMHO.

*L*  I ref AC with that line from Rocky Horror....
"Any way you slice it, it always comes up Meatloaf..."

If I’d lost my mind after winning a major Lotto draw, a $28K A77 would have to be in an unopened box with 1st line cables, no AC labels, all the maintenance widgets, a case of virgin 10" tapes, and delivered by a young nubile woman on leave from the best house in NV when the spouse is out of town.

At that level of fandom, I’d suggest having your skull MRI’d to see if anything is in there...🙄
I had one a few years ago....NO, nothing remotely to do with my presence here (although on occasion a good excuse) AND, Yes, all the typical mush behind the eyeballs.
Asked for and got a CD of the event, fun to slide the view top to bottom and back up.  No, no RFK Jr. worms,  no voids other than my ’normal’ gaps of unconsciousness.....the alien organisms bailed out quite awhile back after getting freaked out by the acid excursions....

"You are now in our control...."

Wanna bet?  Tighten your harness for This thrill ride... ;)

If any of y'all are off to the Axpona audissey, I'd be grateful to learn if any omni's are being shown and flown....
Curious as to whom has what on dis-play....*G*  Can't see from the vendor list who with what is going to be there....

my ex brother-in-law was part of Devil‘s Food a tribute band to Alice Cooper. Being the dude who played Alice. Alice Cooper rules.
