Any modern rock recommendations?

Like many people, I find myself stuck in a +/- 15 year time frame when it comes to rock music.  That being, the music of my youth.  Around 1965 - 1980.  Lost interest about the time the big hair bands took over the scene.  And for me, I can't listen to music that has meaningless lyrics.  I want "Sympathy For The Devil", not "You Give Love A Bad Name".   Maybe that's why I listen to 80% jazz and classical these days.  I'm a victim of the wealth of great rock music I grew up with.  It's been done and not likely to be repeated.  IMHO

Little Feat have put out a couple of albums  "Strike Up the Band" this year and "Sam's Place" a couple of years ago that definitely have that Classic Rock sound.  They're touring this summer. Might be what you're looking for.
