What's a good alternative to SF amati g5?

There must be a good substitute for this really good speaker.  I don't wanna pay the additional cost related to tariffs, it was expensive enough.

I strongly recommend Wilson Benesch. Made in England and distributed in the USA by Aaudioimports. Very high tech in both cabinets and drivers. The extremely small amount of cabinet resonance allows you to hear fine micro dynamics missing on most speakers.

@ghdprentice - cool, I'll do that. Those are some really nice travelogue photos you've got there; you've sure been around!

@tablejockey @ghdprentice nailed it. Look for an older model.  I’d be willing to bet that the Amati G4’s sound fantastic and you wouldn’t be disappointed.  I love my G5’s and last year when I bought mine, it was really hard for me to come up with the money.  If I was just now looking,  I couldn’t spend that much. What ever the reason for the huge price increase,  they’re driving people away.

All the best.

Lots of nice pictures, and you like taking pictures of people which is really good because lots of times people take pictures without people.

Too bad they didn't let you inside North Korea those would also be pretty awesome pictures.

I remember visiting lots of places in the 90s before they had digital cameras. I visited Paris four times and never took any pictures.  I did go to Budapest and like you I actually did take some really nice pictures.  Remember seeing the chain bridge at night but the pictures came out fuzzy cause I couldn't hold the camera steady. bet you're happy you didn't take lots of slides, I've got a lot of those from my parents, I don't know what to do with them. Maybe they went to North Korea before it became North Korea. My father was in the Korean war
