Emotiva ERC-1 cd player

Check the Emotiva Lounge under the Media Sources Reviews section. There are a bunch of threads there where the ERC-1 was reviewed. Some reviews are really in depth and thorough. You may have to take some of the reviews with a grain of salt though as it is Emotiva's forum and a good amount of die-hard fans are there.

Also check the Polk Audio forum. There were a bunch of Polk Audio members who auditioned the ERC-1 and posted their thoughts on it.

I think it is a bargain at its price. Easy to operate. A nice balanced sound. Good ambience around the instruments and great bass response.

i have one and when compared to a similar priced marantz universal player it is head and shoulders above its price range would indicate. it;s internal dac is very good too. i have a music fidelity vdac and i don,t even use it now. great remote and a 5 year warranty?? a pretty good value that i would buy again w/o any reservations. i also use other emotiva peoducts but am not a member of a cult. ha john
