I saw her in ’76 and then, The Hot Band with Rodney doing all the lead vocals, at the Bluebird Cafe a few years later, with both F. Reckard and A. Lee on guitar. these gigs were in Santa Barbara, which was a music lover’s paradise in the 70’s. 

You know the saying: "There are only two kinds of men in this world; those who are in love with EmmyLou and those who've yet to discover her".   ;o) 

 

I miss most big acts because I'm unwilling to pay the high prices. John Hiatt comes in my area yearly

Yeah. I'm astonished such artists are still able to tour, given the prices. 

Just saw Gillian and David last year for $25. I was about 50' from the stage.
