Seeking respect? What a baseless, pointless, temporary and immature goal.
My motivation is Gratitude- thankful and appreciative of the Agoners help and sharing of information. Is simply caring for others difficult to understand?
Most arguments are simply a difference of opinion vs facts, I make it a point to not get involved. But this is not the case- you’re unwarranted attacks on others- returning good with evil. Whipping out the fact that you’re missing limbs as if it entitles you to something like maybe the right to be abusive.
Your quick to point fingers and your refusal to take ownership at your part speaks volumes. Although we don’t like to admit when we are wrong, the mature person realizes that as a human we make mistakes. Unfortunately you likely have your self-esteem closely/foolishly linked to your being right and wrong, so admitting any wrong/error is extremely painful and thus you use avoidance (blame shifting, excuses, focus change…), than taking responsibility. Logic and reasoning is fruitless to an emotionally closed mind.
I’m not trying to attack you nor am I seeking to elevate myself, but it’s painful to sit idly by while you return good intentions with abuse to our Agon community.
It’s great that you find your system satisfying, that’s what we all strive for. It’s also good that besides our dialogue you seem to enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience. Seems you’ve had significant life challenges, I desire for the best for you. I’m hoping you’ll please tone it down, have more patience, and to lift/help others. Life is hard enough without adding strife.
