DeVore O/96 Unboxing

I’m not a sushi freak. I like it but I’m not the connoisseur guy that sits at the counter and just lets the chef create what he wants to serve me. 

Opening my speakers was quite a nervous reveal. I knew that hand curated, walnut finish baffles is a DeVore variable that just is what it is. I had to trust that the master chef had created a beautiful and delicious meal for me. He did. And my wife approves too. Whew.

Nice. But create a virtual system under your user ID and it is easy to put photos there. The only place that is easy. Look forward to seeing your system completed. Look good in the packaging.

A couple hours of initial positioning work with a mixing / mastering pro buddy of mine and we really uncovered the huge soundstage and detailed imaging with a Decware Torii MkIV amp.

We can hear the new drivers struggling to be freed to work well. I must find my zen and use patience for hundreds hours of break in. All good things come to those who wait.

Big props to Brian DiFrank at Whetstone Audio in Austin. Great shop. Excellent guy. He made it happen.
