The beginning of the end?? 

Only ever owned on Mac amp and sent it packing after 6 months.

It is obvious in the tone of the post. This is normal now a days. This includes our beloved local health care institutions.  There is no decency. Big foot crushes little foot. Either role with it or have no future. They don't care about you! 

Heard a nice sounding McIntosh system at Audio Advice Live recently.

I like blue meters.enjoy the music

Mcintosh has not been the same for well over 10 years 

Profits over quality , inside  besides the nice meters 

Compared to say a gryphon diablo night and day 

Difference in parts quality even their best model 

Average quality throughout  sadly  my brother owned both 

Remove the cover  , it's too bad. It's still quality it just has slipped 

A few notches.
