SS amp or receiver that sounds like Tube Amp

If you like tube sound buy a tube amp.the 600 watt tube amps are> 5k to replace the tubes every 2 years. I have the mcintosh 275 mono.manley labs ,carver and others.for my big speakers the Mac kw,hegel h 30,michi m8 work well.enjoy the search.

Perfect example of a person (OP) that wants a quick, simple and definitive answer. Of course when it comes to subjective pursuits this type of answer is impossible to give.

@hbarrel Part of the fun is making things more complicated than they actually are.

I think that part of the type of amp is making the system sound pleasing to the OP. Doesnt seem to be adding complication one bit. Although if you want an amp to sound tubed then buy a tube amp.
