After drooling over the Stainless Breitling Navitimer Fighter for two years, I'm very happy with the Seiko Flight Chronograph I bought for myself this past Christmas. Plus, I feel much better about spending only $235 instead of $2500-$5300.
Since last posting to this thread I have started using an Eternamatic Kontiki (autowind) chronometer. First watch (other than my Sinn) that never needs a time adjustment - all I ever have to do is advance the date on non 31 day months. Built like a tank! Cost less than $1000. Rolex users, eat your heart out! :-)
