Weight...real good upgrade. I had the Icognito wire which was a major move for the better.

I read numerous accounts about weights being pretty much useless on RB300 or RB600 arms.
I also read the accolades to various after market weights for RB250, which came with cheap weight from Rega.

Thank you....I read that my RB300 came with "a tungsten counterweight which was later replaced by a cheaper (and larger) stainless steel counterweight. The tungsten weight is still available as an upgrade from Rega."
I will be also looking for a new wire...I am sure it is going to be a good improvement...

I got the incognito wire upgrade (via Brit Audio), then the Origin Live weight/endstub upgrade (which you can install yourself easilty). Both made substantial improvements. See the Origin Live website for an analysis of the different types of weights.
