Squeezebox Touch DAC

Perhaps this has been addressed before so I apologize if I haven't been able to find it. I've seen many discussions about passing the SB signal through a DAC. I haven't seen any information on using the DAC from a Blu-Ray player such as the Oppo BDP-95. Can anyone comment on whether or not it improves the sound.
