Anyone tried Quantum Resonant Technology?

I recently tried some major power supply upgrades recommended by my local dealer (Vineyard Sound.) I'd been swapping $1,000 interconnects and power cords when Michael suggested a Resonant Technology QX4 and QB8. I have to say up front that I am going to have to downgrade something in another area of my life to keep these components in my system.

The QX4 and QB8 greatly improved highs, spaciousness, attack and decay. Any sense of brightness or grunge disappeared, and I have a much cleaner, wider and deeper soundstage (added 6 feet easy) I've also noticed that I am listening to more music, everyday, for longer periods (the true test for me.)

I don't know the technology but in my system it creates more magic in between my speakers than any other conditioner, tube or cable upgrade I've done. It adds much more energy without removing anything relaxing about music.

My realization is that this technology is more of a foundation that provides the right power to make the recordings sound real. Good recordings sound better, great recordings are in the room, bad sounds okay, still kind of bad.

I'm very impressed and can easily say this combination added 15-20% vs the 5% upgrade with other power supplies changes from quality companies.

Anyone else feel this way or tries these? I've heard little about the Quantum gear other than Nordost is the distributor.

I thought the models were QX4 and QB2 Not an QX8.

I owned one of the ealier models and though it helped with video image it actually sucked out mid bass energy in audio. So I sold it.
Again, that was an earlier model it probably has been improved by now.

Several reviewers have liked it, but others said that they didnt do anything.
For sure one of those products that you should try before you buy.

I being such a tweaker would like to try one again someday.
Krell_man, did you use the QX4 with the Resonant Tech QB4 or QB8? I've heard that this combination is necessary to get the best results. Some also plug the Thor into the QB unit. Have not tried this $$$ combo.

Ozzy, I can't keep the models straight with them sitting in front of me :) There is the QX2 and QX4, the field generator, and the QBase, which comes with 4, 6, or 8 outlets. I don't know if these have changed model numbers over time.

Reviewers are helpful but nothing is better than a friend playing with the cables and power switches to tell if you can hear the difference.
Brian,

I did not try the QX4 with the QB4. I did use it with my $3,000.00 reference power conditioner.

I chose my reference power conditioner over all of the other big names that I auditioned and had it for five years.

In total, I had $5,500.00 in my power conditioner and QX4.

I have had my qx-4 for a year and I am very pleased with results. I originally placed the qx-4 in an adjacent power plug to my PS Audio PPP and the improvement was like a major tweek, but tweek none the less. After plugging my PPP(Power Plant Premier) directly into qx-4 and centering it in the middle of my system the difference has been equal to a major component change. It comes close to equaling the marked improvements I heard after extensive use of vibration control devices(Vibraplane, Svelte shelves,StillPoints,Little Rocks, ect.) It dovetails with everything I have tried it with, such as Shakti Stones,On-Lines,VPI brick, Premier Soloist. There is no downside I can discern.I could go on and on about the positives, but I am a very slow typist, ergo, to the point, very highly recommended.
I can't speak for the Quantums, but in my experience, improving on the power source has been more beneficial than attempts to improve my sound with speaker and interconnect upgrades.

And cheaper.
