Sim Moon I-5, Plinius 8150 8200 , Eci -3

Help! Interested in these three integrated amps and am looking for feedback from owners and auditioners as to opinions on each. Am considering with Sonus Faber Grand Piano, Dynaudio 1.8's, or Gersman Acoustics Avante Garde speakers. Thanks

All three are great choices, but the Moon and ECI would not drive the Dynaudios, and I suspect would have a hard time with the SF.
I agree with Blbloom. The Sim and Electro will not get everything out of the SFs. I have listened extensively to the 8150 and consider it to be an excellent product as well as value. I does a superb job and resloving the details and get wonderful LF out of any speaker. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing.

I've owned both I5 and Gershman Avant Garde. Sure I was not able to drive the I5 up to the 100db+ SPL but it was one musical combi I've ever owned.
While I agree the Plinius is the pick of the litter here, can anyone flesh out a bit where you see the shortfall in the other two? The SF is 90 db sensitive and nominally 6 ohm - it shouldn't present an overload to either the EC or the Moon. Dynaudio recommends their 1.8s be driven by as little as 30 wpc, though it is considerably less sensitive at 87 db. While neither amp provides the headroom the Plinius does here, both should provide acceptable performance based on the numbers. I don't know anything about the Gershmans (except that they're the oddest looking things...) so I can accept whatever ya'll say about them, but for the rest, I'd just like to understand why a bit better.
